I made a prediction last summer that CW would be bankrupt by Feb 08, so I’m at a 2 right now. I’ll go to 1 if that comes true. As a systems analyst, nothing makes me happier than being right.
I’ll second that its kinda hard to be jubilant about all this mess, though. Crime is going to go way up for one thing. Its what happens when a million kids raised as hyper-consumers end up in the middle of depression 2.0.
I thought I was being clever by working for the UC system, thinking we would be mostly insulated from this. Turns out we are getting dinged by falling property tax revenue and credit for student loans is drying up.
