I like Eisenstein. I’ve read of few of his articles before and he does make some very insightful observations.
Along the same lines, a recently released movie that has gotten a million views in just a couple days:
It is long and contains a lot of information(Almost 3hrs), but I think well worth the time. Aside from a high “cheese” factor on some of the “artistic” interludes, it is well worth the view. I specifically like it because it’s kind of a compilation of a lot of the realizations I’ve had over the past few years. Whether you agree with the proposed solutions or not, it’s kind of hard to deny some of the points brought up.
