I have to agree with tmb.
So far the SFHs we’ve seen in the 600~650K range are not that big (~1700-sqft) and once you want something over 1900-sqft the price jumps to 700Ks. The cheaper one are usually the older construction with the older style of floorplan.
We like open floor plan with kitchen very open to the living/dining area (we don’t care for having formal dining/living rooms) and seriously you just don’t get that when you buy a older small SFHs in CV. But again you do get a small patio/yard (very small).
I’m glad that CVmom likes what they found. Howeverm our condo/townhome in 4S ranch is currently 1450-sqft and we have no plan to buy something smaller than 1800-sqft.
