I have a 2002 VW Jetta TDI, it is an automatic diesel that gets 40 MPG. I can buy diesel in Mexico for $2.20 a gallon,regular is $2.50. Why do I have to pay 30 cents a gallon more per gallon than regular gas up here in the States? If things get really insane I can dump peanut oil in it, about $5 a gallon @ Costco.
