I first lurked here in late 2004 (around november) I continued to lurk for probably two to three years, occasionally going away for months at a time because I found the site pessimistic with all it’s housing collapse predictions and I was afraid it was coloring my already pessimistic view. But even when I went away my pessimistic view stuck with me, so I kept coming back checking in. Only after a long time of lurking did I bother to post.
Funny when I think back about it, how it was a quack site when I first found it, and now it seems down right mainstream in comparison.
