I don’t think the twinhomes, La Plage/Winwood, have HOAs and if there’s any Mello Roos left, it’s low. If the twnhm is priced low enough (lower than now) Winwood is not bad, even though older, I don’t mind it. You can fix it up as you like.
If it only really costs 5k to fix the plumbing, that’s not bad. I was mostly concerned that some had plumbing damage already that were not remedied and it would cost way more than 5k to take care of the mold in the walls.
