I don’t mind fiscal conservative government. But I’m opposed to war and not fond of the hypocritical nature of religion. Killing people in wars ok. Abortion of a fetus not okay. Stem cell not okay. Divorce ok. Gay marriage, bad.
Maybe if they weren’t so religious, they could get more fiscally conservative voters.
But then we’re back to corporate welfare rather than social welfare, but we’re getting corporate welfare now. So WTH. They’re almost the same. Subtle difference is the religious tendencies and social views that come from those beliefs.
