I don’t have kids of my own, but have a strong desire to buy/nest. I think it is admirable that men are thinking of their wives and family and the importance of having a house and I respect that greatly.
Not to go off on a tangent, but I think just as important is to make time for your loved ones, kids and wife. Probably more important than a house. Go to kids’ football games or whatever activity they into. As was discussed on another thread, I’ve noticed parents place so much importance on a house when most kids care about you throwing a football w/them.
Throughout my years growing up we rented and owned houses. It never made a difference to us kids. More of a difference for my mom. She liked to garden (green thumb)
Still, I love that you guys care about the happiness of your wives/kids/family. I’m sure that if a house matters this much, all the other little things do, too.
