I don’t blame any one group in particular for higher RE prices in CA coastal counties. RE should be higher-priced in these counties than other CA counties and inland states …. especially within 5 miles of the coast. This has always been the case. If a prospective buyer isn’t satisfied with what they can qualify to buy in SD County, then they should rent or relocate to another county or state with cheaper real estate. It is what it is.
