I check SD county’s website for NODs filed against my landlord in my condo building. Does anyone know how up to date the county assessor’s site is? I can always go downtown to the county bldg and check, and sometimes I do this. Yesterday morning there was a notice of auction for a unit in my bldg on another unit which has tenants in it. I wonder if the owner of that unit bothered to notify her tenants. How does the bank handle this situation? Doesn’t the bank have to give the current tenants 30/60 day notice? And are they obligated to return the deposit to the tenant?
