I can’t imagine they take the tax break away. I mean, it would sort of be like poetic justice, since we need tax dollars to pay for all the bailouts and it would be a great source of revenue for sure. But at the same time, taking the tax break away would, IMO, hurt housing. The very housing they’ve been trying to save.
