There are lots of options for the younger kids as well, depending on your needs. Most of the “pre-schools” are half day and they’re generally run through churches. Penasquitos Christian, Mt. Olive, St. Bart’s, Rancho Bernardo Pres, North County Pres all offer great programs.
As for schools without a religious affiliation and/or full-day programs, I know that people like Teddy Bear Treehouse and the place just at the bottom of the hill on Pomerado, just before the intersection with Scripps Poway Pkwy (can’t think of the name…).
