I begrudge no (wo)man his/her millions (or billions, or whatever), so long as fraud isn’t involved and taxpayers aren’t being asked to subsidize him/her (as in the case of the Big Ugly Banks). If Manny can swing a bat well enough to get someone to pay him $45 million+, then more power to him. Most fans would do exactly the same thing if they were in his position. It’s a business, after all. And he’s got a product that folks desperately want.
