I asked my DH if he thinks CV, RP and 4S is more family oriented than PL or MH. He looked at me like I was asking a stupid question and said emphatically, “Of course!”
Most people think this and that’s why most people with kids would rather be in CV, RP and 4S. Heck, even if you didn’t have kids and wanted to invest, I would think resale would be easier if you’re in a better school district.
Sorry. Given a choice between the two, I would rather be in PL or MH, but people like me are the minority. If you really want my opinion, PL is riding on reputation. Since Liberty Station, the traffic is horrendous in and out of there, not to mention certain parts can hear those jets loud and clear. I just like some of those older homes.
Anyway, the point of this thread was my surprise in seeing some reductions in PL. Last year they were still holding steady.
