I agree with poorgradstudent. At the bottom, Carlsbad houses are 2.5x higher than Temecula houses per square feet. That was the perfect time to buy in Temecula. Now it is about 1.8x higher. I will buy in North County SD instead if it is 1.5x higher.
(The reason that pick Carlsbad v.s. Temecula was both for personal reasons and because the two cities have more demographic similarities than say Escondido v.s. Temecula comparison someone mentioned earlier)
