I agree that things are changing…we have decided to relocate to the Philipinnes..we have visited every year for the last 15 years and our decision is not made lightly..our property is 3 acres of land with a natural spring fed fish pond and in an agricultural area..Tax per year… $7 dollars.
Not saying this is for everyone, however, IMO this is the way to live with what time we have left…
the area is sort of like Southern Calif..topography wise and the weather is always warm…the locals can speak or understand english quite well…we love it.
