How does someone like Lou Dobbs not understand ‘trade deficit’? He uses the words ‘trade debt’ — he is talking about the cumulative trade deficit of 6+ trillion. I don’t understand how someone can make a mistake like that and it gets by the editors.
I just realized today that I am running a trade deficit with the grocery store of about 8% GPP (gross personal product). I appointed a representative to go to the store to shout at them angrily, saying they need to reduce the value of chips & salsa versus the dollar so I can reduce my trade deficit with them. We’ll see how that goes.
