The article said that they have to publish the legal notices but I wonder what standards do they have to meet – do they have to publish old-style paper? Why couldn’t they publish online and meet the requirement that way?
Those legal notices are printed in a font spacing that crams all the characters together to make it unreadable anyway. Must be some legal (state law? civic code?) requirement that they publish on paper. I wonder what the fine is, if any, for not publishing the legal notices? Is the onus on the newspaper or on the legal entities involved that they must publish?
