Glad you brought this point up. A MLB player is a highly skilled/talented profession that 99.9% of the population can’t come close to, and as such, should be compensated for it. Secondly, a .333 hitter will put buts in the seats and generate a substantial amount of revenue thus offsetting the payroll cost.
No comparison between the skill level relative to the general population.
It’s a tough argument to make, and frankly you just can’t make an argument that justifies the commission realtors make relative to the work they do.
