Not entirely true. One mitigating technology we will use will probably be CTL, as mentioned in Hirsh, probably without CO2 sequestration. Though the coal supply itself is both geologically and logistically limited, this does not mean that we won’t make every effort to pull as much of it as possible, liquefy it and dump the emissions into the air.
