Obama is a United States Senator, popularly elected, sitting on the Foreign Relations Committee, with access to the latest intelligence. He was a professor of US Constitutional Law at the Univesity of Chicago, one of the premier law schools in the country (a conservative one I might add). Before that he was Editor of Law Review at Harvard, and graduated magna cum laude. Before that, a Political Science degree from Columbia University with a thesis on Soviet relations. Competence.
Credentials do not equal competence, no matter how much you wish otherwise. As for Obama’s lack of knowledge in history, I think I gave enough examples. Obama may be well qualified to serve in the House or Senate, but his resume is still quite thin when it comes to the office of the President of the United States of America.
