Honestly, are “high-end electronics, more fine jewelry, hundreds of types of wine ranging up to $500 a bottle, and even a sushi bar,” really going to make a difference?
And if it does, does this mean they’re going to pay their employees more money? I mean, am I really going to ask someone making minimum wage to help me select fine wine?
The store will not be fundamentally different. They will still push their loss leaders at everyone so milk will be cheap. Housing in the surrounding area will be cheapened also.
