I completely agree about the Prius, FSD. You forgot to mention that in parts of the SF Bay area, a hybrid can ride in the HOV lanes with just one person inside (the driver)… just another benefit.
A Toyota Highlander Hybrid or Lexus RX400h will be my next vehicle (likely used). Both have models with on-demand AWD capabilities, which I need on occasion. I’m tired of having to mount/dismount tire cables (sometimes repeatedly in one day) when I drive in the ice/snow :={
