I have no idea if your assumption that Jews are economically prosperous is accurate. If true, I suspect it has less bearing on party affiliation than other factors. To the extent that the religion actually plays a part, the religious views on poverty, charity, and education are more consistent with the Democratic party. Those values extend, through family cultural traditions, even absent any organized religion.
