Tent fumigation is about $1200 to $3400 for an SFR, depending on size.
With a tent fume contract, the homeowner gets a 1-3 year guarantee and free treatment during that time frame (if termites or other pests come back). This guarantee extends to new owners, as well.
After that, the pest control co. who contracted your tent fume will give you a one-year contract for typically <$300 per year (for as many visits as needed) and a discount on a sale inspection, when/if the time comes.
IMO, tent fumigation is the ONLY WAY to properly eradicate a continuing termite problem but also kills all other living things in its path.
