Absolutely
Home bought in 2005 600K 1.9% Base +MR = tax 12K (roughly)
Home now bought at 300K 1% + MR = 9K (roughly)
Home across the street 1% + a little = 3K (roughly)
The lower the cost of the home the more the MR has an impact.
