Don’t know about Torrey Pines, but Coronado HS apparently does. I know interdistrict transfers whose parents have pulled them out and put them back in their area schools because of this. The consensus around here is that the kids at Coronado HS have too much $$ and time on their hands (very few youth jobs over there) and too little sense.
Must be due to children of military personnel (in Navy [Officer?] housing). The average homeowner age over there is 67 – LOL.
