While a dealer charges about $60/hr on labor, the person doing the work actually gets a small fraction of that.. closer to $17/hr. You only get close to 100k/yr driving tractor trailers if you transport hazardous materials and drive in difficult areas. Ice road drivers can approach 100k/year.. but it takes a lot of work.
