Wildly inaccurate. Nobody seems to agree on a definition of the shadow inventory let alone where the numbers come from. However, no smoke without fire, and for as long as naysayers fan the flames, industry henchmen will douse the glowing embers. In the mean time, the truth will quietly slide off into the distance.
