aerodynamics is not some new science invented to enable electric vehicles. i’m sure the builders of this thing know a thing or two about it. but i’m damn sure they don’t have the funding for countless hours in a windtunnel.
as well, i’m sure it’s all carbon fiber or glass composite. great stuff, outsource it to china and you could get the bodies made cheap. and the three wheel design is to reduce rolling resistance, i’m sure. but that’s all besides the point.
the average commuter drives what, less than 30 mi/day? 120 mile range is insufficient for road trips, not to mention the lack of cargo and passenger space. that thing is built for commuters and grocery getting, what’s the point of maxing out the gee gaw bullshit? it’s an exercise in stupidity, like the two wheel rover thing or electric carts that are only barely street legal.
