I’ll second that. I’ve been with Mercury and 21st Century (the two well-known cheap insurers) in the past, and they both raise rates by too much too often (despite maintaining a perfect driving record). So far, I’m very happy with Wawanesa and it costs even less than the other two. I haven’t had to file a claim yet, but they seem to get good customer reviews in that department as well (epinions.com).
Anyone currently with one of the big names (Allstate, Farmers, State Farm, etc.) would be doing themselves a favor by getting a Wawanesa quote. You will probably be shocked.
