PUTTING THE SYSTEM ON TRIAL: Ken Lewis Will Call Paulson And Bernanke As Witnesses
Now, that’s going to be REAL interesting.
I wrote months ago that Judge Rakoff would be silenced (by any means)over his refusal back in Sep 09 to sign off on the SEC charade. WSJ Law Blog now has doubts that Judge will sign off SEC free pass.
In the interest of national security there will be no trials, it would cause revolution, far more likely than anything that would result from other trials that won’t happen in NYC either.
Equalizer: Its unfortunate, but I think you’re right. The blowback from a completely open trial, including access to testimony from players like Bernanke, Geithner and others would be catastrophic.
Interesting Op/Ed piece in the NYT today, titled “Mystery Men of the Financial Crisis”. Well worth the read, but, be warned, it will make your blood boil.
