Edit: I also want to add on the teacher topic. After reading about what happened in Carlsbad today and hearing about how common it’s becoming to have shootings at schools, I also would add teaching as a risky profession. I would still do it if I were allowed to have a gun w/me for protection. But then still getting back to what I consider minion wages for teaching a bunch of brats. Their wages do not pencil out in San Diego relative to COL.
