Humm.. that makes me think St George, UT… which is about 40 miles outside of Zion National Park. It is also near Snow Canyon State Park and Red Cliffs National Conservation Area.
I went through there early fall 2020 on a visit to Bryce and Zion. It was a bit warm in St. George and Zion. Bryce’s weather was very nice though. Good timing on my part though because about a week later it snowed in Bryce.
