Looking at Romney’s existing house, I can’t imagine how they are going to squeeze 11,000+ square feet of McMansion into that lot. Must suck to be the poor guy who lives directly behind Mitt’s property.

The lot size, per redfin is 18K sf. But some of that is beach, and therefore not buildable.
The article mentions it will be 2 story, and the current house is 3K sf, not counting the garage… so if they get rid of that courtyard in the center, and build above the garage space, they can do it.
