What am I missing here? The Chargers finished 7-9, the Raiders 4-12. Had the Raiders won, the Chargers are 6-10 and the Raiders 5-11. The result had no bearing on their relative draft position, so I’m not sure I see the Chargers losing to the Raiders comment.
On the other hand, given the log jam of teams at 7-9 and 6-10, the Chargers may very well have been 5 picks better in the draft had they lost (I’m not going to run any numbers; it is just my guess).
And no, they aren’t moving to LA. At this point, it seems that a return of the Rams is the leader in the clubhouse.
