Considering tuition costs have tripled since the days when I went to school, can’t say that I blame them. My brother has a master’s degree in international business and was looking for work for 2 years. Said the hardest job he ever had was looking for work. Demoralizing to the ego. And all the while, he has student loans to pay.
I would not be so quick to condemn them. Different times for them now. My cousin has been doing IT work for a good long time. I wouldn’t consider it grunt work. He has taken a huge pay cut and every day worries about his job being sent overseas.
Come on, flu. I expect better of you and I hope you are kidding. Getting a degree in these times does not guarantee a job, much less a job that will pay for the cost of the degree.
