ssr123, these (demanding and rigorous) advanced placement courses (AP) are offered in MANY high schools in EVERY school district in SD County, including:
Poway Unified School District
San Diego Unified School District
Grossmont Union High School District
Sweetwater Union High School District
Coronado Unified School District
as well as all North County school districts. These classes tend to be very difficult and are not for every student. As I stated before, I’ve seen several students who were once in “GATE” in lower grades have to drop out of AP courses in HS and mainstream back into the regular “college prep” curriculum.
