Californians are paying maximum of roughly 2% property tax…take a look at some of the other “blue” states property tax rates and you’ll see just how good we’ve got it here.
I always love that analogy. Since property values are sometimes 3X higher in Cal than “other blue states” it equals out. Also, what are Cali’s getting compared to the other blue states for their tax dollar? Not much.
