Thanks for your input everyone. My ex-boss lives alone and is close with his brother, but I think the brother covers for him. I’m sure they want to keep it under wraps since exposure could jeopardize reputation.
I am not obligated to report anything to the board except child abuse. It’s just a sad situation and people are suffering. But you guys are right, I should get my reference letter, not burn any bridges, and hope that things will work out ok.
