I happen to live in east county. I can’t speak for the rest of the country but, people out here are just as educated as they are any place else in San Diego county.
People out here tend to have families and are big church goers(probably like much of the middle/southern states). There are many retired and active duty military around here. People out here also like to hunt, fish, and off road. All these are related to the republican agenda.
Our unions are lousy in San Diego. The construction worker types around here are often not in unions, and unions are not respected in our community of San Diego.
