I’m not defending Bush or Obama. Not giving credit to one “side” or the other. Unlike Brian, I don’t see this as a team thing where you pick a team to root for and ignore any faults of that team.

UCGal, you’re a better person than me.
I just find it disingenuous that some convervatives proclaim “they all equally suck” after they are all done cheering for their team.
Humm…. suddenly a change of heart. How convenient.
Remember during the campaign when they made all kinds of excuses for Palin and argued that she was a credible candidate? What a joke that was.
Brian: Oh, please, spare me the mendacious moralizing. No one on this board is more Dem versus GOP than you. You seem incapable, at nearly a molecular level, of even contemplating that Obama and Co. might be wrong.
As to the “they all suck” comparison: Well, they DO all suck. Hence the dismal approval rating for both Obama AND Congress, the Dems and the GOP.
But do not wrap yourself in that particular flag, because its bullshit and you know it. I simply responded to a blatantly false assertion. It had nothing to do with the Dems or GOP being “better”, but rather an acknowledgment that the pursuit of bin Laden has taken nearly ten years, spanned two presidents and incorporated literally thousands of people from multiple agencies and branches of the service.
