First and foremost, the older you are, the harder for you to get pregnant. The more stressed out you are, the harder for you to get pregnant. The more career focused you are, the harder for you to get pregnant.
Younger people have more time to have more kids. They also tend to have less stress. Those who are not as career driven will have more opportunity to have kids.
Reproduction is hard wired in to your mind as an animal. If it’s not, then your species would be extinct. Animals do not have society pressure, yet they have much more offsprings than humans do.
