Brian: We have NO regulation at all? Please. That remark is completely and obviously false. And, quit beating the “incremental change” drum. We do NOT need incremental change: We need sweeping and comprehensive change.
What we are seeing now doesn’t even comprise incremental change. Its a toothless joke and a sop to the outraged masses, just like this joke of an SEC case against Goldman Sachs.
Madoff served himself up on a platter to the SEC and that investigation/litigation has essentially stalled. Heard much about ole Bernie recently? Nope. Wonder why?
If you’re serious and, more important, honest, you’ll admit that the present administration is down on its knees, doing the “Neil and Bob Show” just like Dubya and Clinton were before.
