My mom has spoken like this all of her life, with no signs of slowing down. I think my sister does, too. I … don’t.
That said, I’m not sure what threats of castration are supposed to be equivalent to in this thread. When I hear my mother make those kinds of statements, it’s in a vengeful fashion — extrajudicial eye-for-an-eye punishment for doing something reprehensible. Like taking any of the actions Trump claims in that Access Hollywood video.
The creepiest part of the video might actually be at the end when Billy Bush tells the woman to hug Trump. He listened to all of that on the bus and then immediately pressured the woman into physical contact with Trump. Disgusting.
