bearishgurl, are you talking specifically about this house or are you talking about PQ in general? Care to tell me when was it that PQ was considered lower-middle class bedroom? I’ve only been here for 20 years and Since early 90s, PQ has been on par with 92128(RB). RB and PQ are usually the areas people move up to after they sell their house in MM. You can’t beat the location of PQ if you work in tech. The 3 biggest tech center in SD are Carmel Valley, Sorrento Valley, and RB. If you live in PQ, you can more than likely find a new job within 15 min drive. To a lot of people, being close to work and have high ranking schools beat out a big house or a view. Btw, I don’t live in PQ, but I can understand why many want to. Hence the relatively high RE price compare to Chula.
Today, if you consider PQ as lower middle class bedroom, then Chula Vista would be considered section 8 bedroom.
With regards to this particular area, NE PQ, I’d rather live in west MM.
