Based on the condition of the planet at this time, it seems like it would be in our best interest to concentrate on energy creation that does not involve burning things. Whether we dig it outta the groung or grow it, if we burn it, it’s bad for the planet. Wind, nuclear, geothermal, solar,hydrolic, tidal, etc…all seem like far better alternatives for the long run.
Imagine what will happen to the atmosphere when all the people in China and India get the car they want and it burns some kinda fuel?!
