1. Ron Paul has never advocated federal government involvement in the abortion issue. He is pro-life personally, but he thinks that the states should decide on that issue. Where is the controversy?
2. Ron Paul is against bloated federal spending. He wants to cut it everywhere. The reason he is against the spending is because he does not want people to pay taxes. But if his constituents have already paid their taxes, it is his job as their congressman to make that money work for their benefit as much as possible. That’s how I understand it.
