What I am surprised about is that Realtors (R) are out “farming” again. Isn’t that the correct term when they’re actually going door to door? I remember when I was a kid this one Realtor (R) always brought a pumpkin, mini Christmas tree or whatnot along with her card year after year. My parents still have her card on the refrigerator. If she’s still alive and kickin’ when they’re gone I’ll give her a call just to reward her for her tenacity.
No agent has come to my door since I moved in here, at least, not while I’ve been home. I have noticed, like I’m sure everyone here has, that we are no longer getting glossy four-color postcards of houses that have just sold/just been listed in the neighborhood. Just thin, blue, lightweight cards with black and white pics and more than one property.
