She didn’t say anywhere in that line the two were different or inconsistent with each other. As she said last night, one is used to convince the masses, and another is used to convince those she meets with in small rooms. Her goal remains the same, to get the deal done.
There doesn’t appear to be anything in Clinton’s current plan to do away with stepped up basis.
